What colored curtains compliment mocha colored furniture?

I have mocha colored furniture and would like to spruce up my living area for fall. The walls in my home are a swiss mocha (type of white) and are kind of boring. What I want to do is find accent pieces and curtains that can make the room pop. I’m leaning toward warmer tones but would like some input before I start .

I think a rich warm raisin color would be GREAT… then you can either go with the Safari prints… or go with the colored pottery items .. with the Berry or Deep Green… then use some throw rugs with patterns in them… and of course all the modern rod iron accents would be great…. some deep colored candles .. an even brass mirmirrors or a black framed mirror… sounds like fun to me….

The right shade of blue–look for blue with mocha stripes or panels–look at bed, bath and beyond, but make sure you use the 20 percent off coupons–they are kind of pricey for my taste.

Hi,

I see two solutions:

fresh green complemented with subtle blue accents (but pay attention, as they’re both cold colors so you should use them with moderation) or

stripped bordeaux and beige curtains. This one would definitely look more elegant but I think you should only use it if your room receives enough light.
