Sheer Curtains

How do I search for opaque curtains you can’t see through that diffuse light?

I’ve tried the terms “light-filtering” and “opaque sheers” but can see the window panes through both. Can also see through linen and through cotton voile. Is there a fabric I’m forgetting the name of?

Where could i get these curtains/sheers?
